Invite users
In saasmetrix, multiple users can have access to the Admin Console. New users can be invited by an existing administrator.
Roles
There are two roles that users can have:
- Admin: These users have full access to saasmetrix and can perform all actions (e.g. connect software, add, edit or delete users).
- Read-only: Read-only users have access to all views in saasmetrix. However, they can only have read access to the system. This access is often used for accounting and controlling.
Send invite
New users to be granted access to saasmetrix can be invited via the advanced settings in the dashboard. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
- First open the settings via the icon in the top right corner and click on 'Settings'.
- Click on 'Members & Invites' to see an overview of the users already in saasmetrix and all invitations.
- To invite a new user, click on 'Invite' in the top right corner, enter the email address of the new user and select the role to be assigned to them. As an Admin, the user has full access to all functions and can make changes. As a viewer, they will only be able to view data but not make any changes.
- After a successful invitation, the user will receive an invitation email with the next steps. Once the user has followed the instructions in the email, they now have access to saasmetrix.
