Types of licenses

There are 2 types of licenses: Manual and automatically managed licenses.

To create and edit licenses for an application, open a connected application and click on ‘Licenses’ in the area at the bottom right.

If available, all recognized licenses for this application will be listed here.

If the lightning bolt in front of the licenses is grey, it indicates that this is a manual license. Please note that these licenses are not synchronized with the respective application. However, they are useful for the organization in saasmetrix.

If the lightning bolt in front of the licenses is blue, this license is automatically synchronized with the respective application. Should a license be assigned to a user or removed, this process is also recorded in the application.

To view the number of available licenses, simply hover your mouse over the bar to the right of the license name. This function enables you to monitor your license quota.
