Tasks

Overview

Tasks are designed to simplify the process of planning and managing Jobs. They provide an intuitive way to organize and oversee automated workflows, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Creating a Task

Follow these steps to create a new task:

  1. Click on the Create button.
  2. Provide a descriptive title and detailed description.
  3. Add the jobs you want to assign to this task (refer to the Jobs page for more details).
  4. Click Create to finalize the task.

Editing Tasks

To update the information of a task, click the Edit option in the table dropdown or use the pencil icon available in the detail drawer. This feature allows you to modify only the title and description of the task, keeping the assigned jobs intact.

Handling Assigned Jobs

Within the detail drawer, you can manage the jobs associated with a task by pausing, aborting, or scheduling them. If you need to unassign a job, it must first be aborted. There is also an option to pause all jobs at once using the "Pause All" button, as shown in the image below. Furthermore, new jobs can be created and directly assigned from this section, providing flexibility in handling task-related workflows (refer to the image below for an example).

Archiving a Task

Archiving a task is straightforward. By clicking the Archive button, you can remove the task from your active list. This action will also abort any incomplete jobs associated with the task, ensuring a clean and organized workflow.
